What is therapy?
Therapy offers you the opportunity to slow down, make sense of what's happening and explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe, supportive environment.
Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck or disconnected from ourselves. Therapy gives you the time and space to understand why you feel the way you do, helping you develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion and emotional resilience.
My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to you. Together we'll explore what's been happening, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you move towards a happier, more fulfilling life.
What does therapy feel like?
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you've never spoken to anyone before.
Many people worry they'll be judged or won't know what to say.
In reality, therapy is simply a conversation.
A space where you can slow down, feel heard and begin making sense of what's been happening.
Clients often describe leaving sessions feeling:
-
Heard
-
Understood
-
Calmer
-
More hopeful
-
Lighter
-
Better able to cope
You don't have to have all the answers.
We'll discover them together.
How does therapy work?

We create a safe space
We'll begin by talking about what's been happening in your life and what you'd like to be different.
There is no pressure and no expectation to share more than you're comfortable with.

We make sense of your experiences
Together we'll gently explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences, helping you understand yourself with curiosity rather than judgement.
As your understanding grows, things that once felt confusing often begin to make much more sense.

You move forwards
Therapy isn't about changing who you are.
It's about helping you reconnect with yourself, build emotional resilience and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
My Approach
Supporting you in a way that feels right for you.
No two people are the same, so no two sessions are either.
Rather than following a set programme, I take time to understand you, your experiences and what you're hoping to change.
Depending on your needs, we may draw on therapy, coaching, cognitive hypnotherapy or a blend of approaches. We'll create a way of working that's tailored to you and your goals.
